remotion-captions
This Skill provides a complete solution for handling captions in Remotion, including generating captions from audio/video, displaying captions, and importing captions from .srt files. It uses a standard JSON format, simplifying time alignment, confidence management, and rendering, enabling developers to quickly integrate high-quality captions into videos.

1 组Before this Skill, developers had to manually parse caption files, align timestamps frame by frame, handle confidence data, and write extensive custom rendering logic. The process was time-consuming and error-prone, especially with long videos where manual adjustments were tedious.
With this Skill, developers can generate, import, and display captions with a few API calls. It automatically handles time alignment and confidence, drastically reducing coding effort. Caption rendering accuracy approaches 100%, and video production efficiency increases severalfold.
All captions must be processed in JSON. The captions must use the Caption type which is the following:
import type { Caption } from "@remotion/captions";
This is the definition:
type Caption = {
text: string;
startMs: number;
endMs: number;
timestampMs: number | null;
confidence: number | null;
};
